More than a Gun Needed! I was skinning Hogs with one of my guides when I keep getting my phone blown up from my other guide. I answered yes what you need? We got a monster hog shot that we been tracking for over an hour and need flashlights. Ok I’m on my way with lights. Little did I know I would soon be in a bad hog situation. We tracked blood for another 15 minutes and I was in a small field when I heard what sounded like a buffalo running. Bill my guide yells it’s a big one. My guide and the Client was in front of me where the sound of hoofs was coming from, when bill yells again coming at you boss, while he was shinning his flashlight in my eyes. I quickly looked around me to see what I could get behind cause I couldn’t shoot towards my guide or the client. There was nothing but open. Oh this is going to hurt I was thinking as the hoofs on this 400 pounder was on top of me. All I could do was jump as high as I could and pray. Well I got very lucky and high enough, because the brute hog was going so fast and went under my feet. Holly shit I’m thinking as I turn to make sure he keep going. Then in the back ground I hear holly MICHEL JORDON what a jump. Needless to say we never found the beast. I had to get back to the lodge to check my shorts. Remember it doesn’t matter sometime even if you have a gun, the woods require more.
