Turkey’s are one of the most sought after game birds in Florida. We are a licensed hunting preserve and may release captive-reared game birds to restock the area for the season. These birds can be identified by leg or wing band. Not all of our hunts are on our preserve, and other turkey’s may be hunted there if requested. • All Turkey hunts will be hunted by blind, spot & stalk, or ambush, we use all the methods to try and insure our clients get a bird. • These hunts are day light till dark hunts and requires time in the field to get your bird. • Full camo with face mask and gloves are recommended to keep concealed when not in a blind. • If hunting on our beloved preserve for a banded captive-reared turkey, then our hunting season is much longer, • Oct 1st Threw April 20th are the extended season dates. • There is no bag limit for captive-reared game birds taken on our preserve, but each kill has a fee. AWARDS BY THE STATE If you harvest a turkey with an 11-inch beard or longer and at least 1 1/4-inch spurs, you can get your name listed in the FWC's Wild turkey registry By applying for an "outstanding Gobbler Certificate", there's also a "First Gobbler Certificate" awarded to hunters under age 16 who harvest their first gobbler, regardless of beard or spur measurements.
