Florida Hog Hunting in the rain with back up! Florida Hog Hunting in June and a little warm when here comes the rain. It rain the whole time we was hunting, slowing down our hog sightings. We were hog Hunting a Florida game Ranch going from Hog feeder to Hog feeder when we finally saw a shooter. With it raining I was told to do a head shot only, and with my crappy scope forged up it was harder then I expected. The hog kept moving, so my Guide barked at the Hog and it stooped for a minute and I shot. I hit the wild hog in the jaw dazing him and he came charging directly at us with my Guide yelling, shot him again. The hog was moving so fast I shot over him twice, then my Guide pushes me behind a tree and shots the wild hog in the head witch dies at our feet. Holly shit what a rush. Glad to see my guide was caring a 44 pistol. So please remember when Hunting wild boar, have back up, because you never know when you’ll need it.
